An Amazing Day!

We recently went to Amazement Square in Lynchburg and had an amazing day. I'm going to have the kids tell you about the day.Connor: Hello! I had a really good time at Amazment Square. IT WAS AWESOME!!! My favorite part was running around in the giant four story climbing structure. I also liked lunch, I couldn't care less about the tours though.

Cailin--This is one of the so called "Tours". Really we just sat and listened to the person as she told us about disabilities.

In this picture, I'm painting on the walls. Painting doesn't happen every day at my house, but I never paint on the walls!

Delaney-- I had fun at Amazement Square. I enjoyed the Lego Rock Band, but most of all I like playing with Krystal and Janet.Cailin--The camera did the thing in my mouth, there's really nothing there!!!

Me and my best buddies.

Hello! Ryan here. The day started out like any other day for me getting up, going to seminary, and then going home. When I got home I had to get ready to go to Amazement Square. When we left I had to endure 2 1/2 hours of grueling boredom. I was glad when we finally got into the parking lot and got out of the car. When we went in we had to wait a while for the tour guide to come and explain all the saftey rules. Then the tour guide took us up to the third floor where we started our tour. We talked about people with seeing disability and the different kinds of ways they couldn't see. Then we talked about the people who have physical disabilites and how they got around. Finally we went over how people who couldn't speak or hear communicate with those who can. After that we looked around at the different things that people with disablities use. One thing I thought was cool was the wheel chair basketball. About a half hour later we went to another room for the other tour. The tour was about famous black people who helped get themselves their rights. The person I remember the most that we talked about was Arthur Ashe, who was a famous black tennis player. After that tour we were allowed to roam around the muesem and I just played with Jesse. Several hours later we had lunch then went back in and played some more. My mom informed me they had a video game going on and it turned out to be a new game called Lego Rock Band. It had one of my favorite band's songs on it. I don't remember how many times I did that song but it kept me going. That was my favorite part of the whole day. After that I roamed around a bit longer then me and my family went home. That was one of the most perfect days ever.

More Space to Fill

We're building quite a storage....Barry had to build more shelving to fit it all. Ohhhh this 4'x 8' shelving will give me lots of space to fill up....I'm so excited! (Don't worry Dad, we have more shelving that needs to be built!)

One Month Old and a few cute pic's.

Brianne's one month old...time has flown while I've been in the sleep deprived fog. Really though, she's a great baby, except for the nursing issues she's been the easiest baby we've had.
Such a cuddler, she loves to be held and she sleeps quite well.

Such a cute photo...cuddle time with big brother (and his fingers aren't in Brianne's eyes, mouth or squishing her head!)

A cute Christmas photo.

Delaney loves to help me hold her and feed her her bottle when she's hungry.
