Connor's High Adventure Camp at Foster Falls

What a busy, yet fun and wonderful time !!  Connor spent one week going back and forth from this camp working as a camp leader, working with Brother Brent Davis  and having dental appointments for wisdom teeth removal for his mission paperwork.
Many adult leaders were impressed with how well he worked with the younger (not so happy) scouts and gave him a yoke.....an award that showed their gratitude to him about his example and willingness to serve others with Christlike love.

The inscription-- "The yoke lets you carry your burden more easily.  Alma and the people with him, who were in bondage found that when they prayed for relief from their burdens the Lord did not remove their burdens immediately, but strengthen them to be able to bear them.  YOU too, have strengthened us and made our burden lighter."  2016 Foster Falls    1st Annual Pembroke Stake AP Camp.

Last day of Stay Camp 2016.....a day of crafts and indoor activities -- Rain, Rain Go Away!

Usually, we spend quite a bit of time working on crafts during our stay-camp adventures.  Not so this year.  However, we did get to work on his bird house (while it was raining) and a soccer goal area for him to practice in.(when it was not!).  Liam has come to discover that he really likes playing the position of goalie for soccer.

You can't see it very well, but there is a goal posts setting with netting to designate a soccer goal area.

Stay Camp 2016 ......day 2

Day two....and nature hike with Dad in the morning ( and more donuts for breakfast!).  We enjoyed walking the nature trails of Randolph park.  while hiking we gathered sticks and bark for a couple of crafts.  We'll make a name plate for Liam's room and a bird house.
Does this boy look like his father or what ??!!??  ;)

Little Miss Bree, who has of late, loves to stick her tongue out every time the camera clicks  :{

In the afternoon, we spent some time playing in a creek in Christiansburg with Grace and Marshall.

Marshall came home with us from the creek and joined us in roasting hot dogs!
