Brianne tried her first solids (other than cereal in her bottle) today. Mmmmm sweet peas. Actually, they weren't bad, they really were sweet; much better than the mushy nasty balls of green that I remember eating while growing up.I wanted to introduce a veggie that she could possible reject and move into the sweet yummy fruits later, in hopes that it would instill a love of veggies....well she likes these. She ate about a half a jar.
One down, so many more yummy vegetables to go. After a few days of peas I think we'll try greenbeans next.

When she was done and I cleaned her up (she loved that ;)--I found to my amusement, this on her shirt.....Sweet Pea. How funny and I didn't even plan it.

That is so exciting that she did so well! I love those pictures of her cuddled with Barry on the sidelines and she looks so grown up sitting the high chair. She is moving right along...before you know it she'll be walking...right? (that's what I keep telling myself about Averi anyway)
