The Fish Hatcheries

This is Cailin here. Mom's writing is in italics. Mine is in normal.

Liam and I are reading a book about the ocean.  We came to the page all about fish and I thought a quick trip to the fish hatcheries would be fun.  Turns out, that Barry really needed a quite house to finish some papers for his classes on the same day I had planned to make this trip, so we left enjoyed some time out of the house!
The inside "aquarium" wasn't really very good because it only had four fish exhibits--and one was empty. But they had a bulletin board with different things about the fish and that was nice.

The book didn't talk about the life cycle of the fish and the bulletin boards had great pictures--real life one--of the different stages of the fish.

We went outside and at the back of the building to where the full grown fish were. We fed them some fish food. They went crazy and acted like they'd never seen food before.

The fish food bucket.

Brianne was interested in how crazy they went when she threw food at them.

With empty pail in hand, we head back to the car.

We're not sure what Liam was up to; he just took off and started to walk up and down the pathways with purpose and attitude....I'd love to know what he was thinking about just then.
There was a forest beside the place...I love forests. And running. I love to run. And be in forests. So basically, I love to be in forests and be running. Or nature. Being outside is awesome.
