A Charlie Brown Christmas

"My time being Charlie Brown was a time well spent. I had a real fun time and everything went smoothly."  as quoted by Ryan aka. Charlie Brown.   He indeed did a wonderful job playing Charlie.

The youth of our ward performed A Charlie Brown Christmas  play for the ward's Christmas party.  Ryan's not usually one to volunteer for anything, so it surprised me when he mentioned that he asked to play the part of Charlie Brown.  Of course, sometimes he is a Charlie Brown of sorts with his demeanor and inflection, but, he did do a super job and received many compliments on his performance.

Cailin played the part of Charlie Brown's sister Sally.  She too has a knack for acting and did a wonderful job.   Cailin writing: I semi-enjoyed the production of A Charlie Brown Christmas. I like acting, but I don't like doing it when people I know apart from my family are watching. I don't know why, really...I suppose it is more personal.
     But....
It was fun. I enjoyed the Mutual Activities we did preparing for it and I enjoyed doing the play.

Ryan rarely wants to get out and do much of anything, so I'm thrilled to be able to showcase him in our family history keeping blog!  Yeah, Ryan is a part of our family and now I have a blog entry of him and his involvement in life to show it.  He really is here and he's really a great yute to be around!!

And I love his costume. I may have to steal the idea of how you made his shirt. It is perfect.
