Once Barry has finished with the detail work I'll post a finished picture of the room.

Remodeling Update
I've been asked, "How's the remodeling project coming along?" Here's an update. We tried to complete the whole project in one week, however, sickness over came the family and slowed down the process. Yet, on a good note, although the room isn't completely finished we were able to move bedroom furniture in. The detail work will get done when we can.
A lucky discovery, the walls framework allowed uninterruped access to the room below. We were able to rent a blow in insulation machine and insulate the living room downstairs with out tearing out the walls. Yea! Putting the insulation up wasn't hard at all.
Putting the drywall up was a bit more challenging. Barry did most of it by himself. Mudding the walls were tedious. I did quite a bit of the sanding and I thought I did a good job....
(Putting on the base coat of paint.)
However, once Barry got the final coat of paint up on the walls I noticed many places I didn't sand very well. Oh well, this room matches the wall from the rest of the house-- marred, pocked and scarred. We move into the room regardless of needing to finish trim work, more painting and other detail work. Barry is starting his midnight cycle and needs a quite dark room to sleep in. So up go the cheap curtain rods and out go the kids so he can sleep.
