Christmas Parade

Ahhh, parades...community spirit, music and fun, so far, all of the older kids have participated in one or another parade in our community.
Ryan joined others from Critzer Elementary one year (about 1st or 2nd grade), another year he walked with his cub scout troop.
Connor also participated in a pararde while he was a tiger scout.
Cailin had an opportunity to be in two, one with a soccor team and another when she was in the play "Joesph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat" in Blacksburg two years ago. Delaney's moment to shine came this year with her dance class. She had so much fun....so much so that as I saw her walk past she completely didn't hear me, and joyously walked (sort of hopped-floated--bounced) by happily wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. It was a cold night...and we bundled warm but our fingers and toes still got cold. Brianne and Liam had fun collecting candy and looking for Santa to come by. Cailin chummed up with her friend Celia and her family (they went out for pizza, both girls put down an entire pizza of their own!) At the end of the night we all gathered back at home enjoying hot cocoa and family time reading the scriptures. It turned out to be a wonderfully cozy night to begin our Christmas season with.
