When I asked Ryan what kind of cake he wanted....."why death by chocolate of course" was his answer. It's birthday time and he's SEVENTEEN!!! When did that happen? It was "date year" for his birthday celebration, so Barry, Ryan and I headed out for a dinner at Ryan's Restaurant--his choice. Afterwards we scoured some book stores, Barnes and Noble, Goodwill and of course he just had to browse through Game Stop....and of course he found a game that he wanted. Lucky for him he just got paid and was able to get a game he's been wanting to acquire for a while (Gundum, something, something...). While at Barnes and Noble we got him the latest book from the Naomi Novik series of Temraire. Delaney's dance recital landed on his birthday this year, so the cake celebrations happened a day later.

Some of his favorites: Naomi Novik books, cornflakes, peanut butter crackers and cheese pizza. Anything chocolate. Sleeping in, rainy days (because there is not chance of a mowing day now :)
Dragons, dragons, and more dragons. His V Tech hoodies, black running pants...for all occasions. Playing video games via internet with his online friend Snipes.
Some of his dislikes: Chemistry, mowing (but he does it with a mild grin), cleaning his room, brushing his teeth, wearing anything but t-shirts, jeans or above mentioned favorite clothing. He hates to eat meat!!
