While the boys were traveling all through Fredricksburg, seeing the civil war history sites, the rest of us stayed home....not exactly stayed home, but we ran a few errands, purchased groceries and stopped by the VT Duck Pond to spend some time with the ducks and geese.
The ducks were there first, but once the geese heard all the commotion they high tailed it to find the food. They were quite brave and would feed right out of hands.
Brianne, who in the past has been deathly afraid of all feathered or fur covered friends, had no problem with them. She walked and talked with them as if they were old, old friends.
She was also quick to find the bits of food they didn't find on the ground.
These two geese ganged up on her....she could only handle one at a time. While one was trying to get the bread from her hand in front of her, she quickly pulled it away from him--unknowingly the one behind her was ready to grab it out her hand. They weren't about to share a morsel with Bri. This was quite a funny little exchange to watch....wish I could describe it better.

While it was a short trip, we did have an enjoyable walk. Liam wants to back--this time with 3 bags of bread, instead of just 1!!
