Our Crazy Busy Thursdays

--6 am  Have the boys wake me up at  before they head off to seminary (only today I had to take them so I got up earlier)
-- 6-7 am  shower, dress, scriptures, check email
--7 am   wake up the kids-- get Brianne dressed, fix breakfast and get someone who is standing around to start making sandwiches for our lunch.
-- 8 am last rush of everything, gather library books and head to the car
-- 8:10 pull out of the drive way....oops, family prayer, then pull out!
-- on our way to Christiansburg, the NRV mall campus of NRCC for Ryan's computer class which starts at 9:05.  He needs to be there about 10-15 minutes early to get his paper work printed for class completed.

Ryan's on his way to class....now we head off to the Radford Library.

While at the library the kids get books they need and want  for school and personal enjoyment.
We love coming here.  Everyone is so friendly and nice.  Being cheerfully greeted by Monica always starts the day off right.  They open at 9 am, so sometime, depending on when we get Ryan off to class we have to wait a bit for the library to open.

--9:45 am.....off we go again.
Drop off Cailin for her flute lesson at the Smith's home.
Drop off Delaney and Liam for Writer's Workshop at the Brame's home.
Drop off Connor with Bro. Long for his science fair mentoring at Radford City Electric Company.
(Thankfully all these stops are only 10 or so blocks away from each other)

Back to the Library for Story Time with Brianne.
She loves story time with Ms. Jamie. (see, she takes her shoes and socks off and makes her self at home!)

There is lots of singing (and signing), poems, flannel stories, and puppet stories.  Her favorite things are the musical instruments and playing with the chiffon like scarfs.  Music is her thing!  She loves anything that is put to music, so this part of the day is right up her alley.

--11 am  off to pick up Cailin from flute and drop her off at the Brame's so she can have some time with her friend Beryl.  Pick up Connor unlees he walks to the Brame's if the weather is nice... and then back over the river (cross it two times) to get Ryan from his class.

--12:00 Noon  Drop off Ryan at his therapy/counseling time with Mr. Bryant.  He enjoys this time.  Sometimes I stay and let Brianne play with the few toys in the lobby, but after last week this won't happen again.  I'll be heading off again to get the rest of the crew from the Brame's.
--12:45 pm Pack into the BMW  (Big Mormon Wagon, as Barry calls it) and we're off once again to get Ryan
--1:00 pm head over the river for the last time of the day...possibly stop at Krogers to pick up any great sale items or necessities: milk, eggs or bread.
--2:00/2:30 pm Home!  Quickly get Brianne down for a nap or she won't be a happy camper in a few hours!
Take a Break!!! Breathe and get ready for the next travel log.....

--3:15 pm  Gather scripts for play practice.  Leave a sleeping Bri with Connor and take Cailin, Delaney, Liam and Janet Brame to the high school for play practice.
--4:50 pm  leave a few minutes early to get Delaney of ballet/dance practice.
--5:10 pm back home....now it's time to get dinner ready.  Usually it's very easy, last week it was waffles with blackberry syrup (lots of blackberries for fruit!!:)  and sausage.
--6:20 pm  head off again to pick up Delaney from dance practice. (if Barry's home he'll do this!)
Back home again....Dinner, Clean-up, Scriptures or family reading, family prayer and bed!  (the olders stay up with Dad to watch a bit of Dr. Who)

Whew, what a day!  I'm tired after writing about it.... thank goodness this is our only day like this, but it was planned on purpose. I'd much rather be out and about one full day than spread it all out and constantly be on the go.  By the time the week rolls around for it to start again, we're ready for the whirlwind fun.
